Cachen ligger med utsikt över Brudkällan och med Ögonkällan strax ovanför.
Brudkällan rinner upp vid foten av en liten bergknalle som kallas brudberget, till vilket antagligen redan på Skragges tid ett flertalet sägner knutits.
En av dessa berättar hur en brud som kom ridandes i spetsen för sitt brudfölje, bortrövades av bergtrollet som höll henne instängd i berget, En variant berättar att hon i fångenskapen grät så mycket att källan vid bergets fot rann upp av hennes tårar
Under 1930-talet uppstod här en trevligare sed.

Stamgästerna hälsade nykomlingarna och duskålar druckos av källvattnet.
På krönet av brudberget finnes i en trekantig bergskreva en vattensamling som veterligen icke torkar ut. Huruvida grundvattnet stiger upp genom sprickor i berggrunden eller skrevan blott är en behållare för regnvatten kan här ej avgöras. Faktum är att den icke sinar ens under de torraste somrar. Måhända på grund av sin form, som liknar symbolen för det allseende ögat, har vattensamlingen fått namnet ögonkällan. Allmogen trodde förr att vattnet hade hälsobringande inverkan på sjuka ögon, och besökare vid källan underlät aldrig att som ett slags profylax tvätta sina ögon med.
År 1923 undersöktes källan av en brunnsgäst och bland saker som hittades i källan var ett 10-tal kopparmynt samt ett glasögonsglas och ögat av en s.k. stenpicka. Dessa fynd kan tyda på att källan ännu i sen tid använts som offerkälla för ögonsjukdomar.

The cache is placed with a view of ”Brudkällan” (the Bride Well) and with ”Ögonkällan” (The Eye Well) right above it. ”Brudkällan” runs up at the foot of a small hill called The Bride Hill, to which several legends were connected even before the time of founder Skragge.
One legend tells the story of a bride who came riding at the front of her bride party and was abducted by the troll of the mountain who kept her prisoner in the mountain. One version tells that she was crying so much in her captivity that the well at the foot of the mountain welled up from her tears.
In the 1930-s a more pleasant custom was born. One of the first days of the spa-term the guests marched in a procession to the Bride Well where the regular guests welcomed the newcomers and toasted with them in the water from the well.
On the top of the Bride Hill there is a triangular crevice that never dries out. If it’s the ground water seeping through the bedrock or just a container for rainwater cannot be known for sure but it is a fact that it never dries even in the driest of summers. Perhaps due to its shape that resembles the symbol for the all-seeing eye this pool has been named “Ögonkällan”(The Eye Well) The public used to believe that the water had a healing effect on diseased eyes and visitors always washed their eyes in the water as a preventive measure.
In 1923 the well was examined by a guest and among other things around ten copper pennies, a glass from a pair of spectacles and the eye from a so called “stone pick” was found. These findings may indicate that the well even in more recent times has been used as a sacrificial well for eye diseases.
