Course Descriptions

Hiding Uber Cool Caches: Ron and Martin will cover some basic issues like getting approval in Milwaukee and Waukesha County Parks, on DNR properties and on private property. Then they will discuss hide types and suitable locations and how to think outside the box to create uber-cool hides.

Solving Puzzles: Marc will break down the different types of puzzles, use real world examples, and discuss strategies on solving them.

Smartphone Geocaching: The two most popular apps for Smartphones are the Groundspeak app and the c:geo app. Do you still print paper before going out to Geocache? Don't! These apps will help you go paperless in the field and let you Geocache on the fly. Get the basics and advanced tips on these apps from Geocachers who use them everyday.

GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife software): It's one of the most popular waypoint managing tools that Geocachers use. Dave will start by discussing basics like doing and uploading a pocket query and then show the many ways GSAK can manipulate waypoints to help you plan your next Geocaching trip. Even if you know something about GSAK you'll want to attend both courses.
