Geocache Description:

the cache is up hill from the trail at the main Sand Lake campground. It is hidden under a rusty wheelbarrel probably left by the Conservation Corp.

This was our first ever attempt at hiding a cache, so we are hoping we took good coordinates... We think it should be good! It would be great if someone who succesfully finds this cache would make a verification comment so we know it can be found! Anyway, the cache is up hill from the trail at the main Sand Lake campground. It is hidden under a rusty wheelbarrel probably left by the Conservation Corp when they built the dam at Fish Lake. We spent two nights camping at this site and all the boy scouts took something from their pack and put it in the cache. the container is not large, so if someone wanted to swap it out for a larger box it would be great.

This trail is about 3.25 miles from the parking lot to Sand Lake where the cache is hidden. it is an uphill hike that took our scout troup about 3 hours to complete. The campsite is well worth the work though. we had a GREAT time up there, and caught dozens of greyling in Fish Lake.
