Cloud City: RESTOCKED AND RETHEMED 3/28/2005! NOW A STAR WARS/SPACE THEMED CACHE (to go with the name Cloud City). Well, it may not be cloud city when you find it...but on the day we hid the cache it was like we were floating in a misty cloud city. There are mulitple approaches...Red Rock Canyon parking lot (N 34° 06.373, W 118° 38.225) or off stunt road. They are pretty equal in distance.

The rains waterlogged the cache in early 2005...so we hiked back up and cleaned it out...re stocked with only STAR WARS things. Try to keep the theme up...if not Star Wars, how about space things? Maybe one day we'll do all Sound of Music stuff (because of the beautiful meadow). Lots of great things for kids if you can safely get them up here (just close adult supervision and patience and you should be fine...it's pretty steep though). There are trails the entire way (more or less)...no big climbing or bush-whacking needed (although steep elevation changes). The final search may take a bit more poking around.

June 12 by RCKen (727 found) LAED and I did a one way trip of the Calabasas Motorway from the Stunt Road Trail Head to the Secret Trail Head. Wish we could of used the space shuttle located in the cache to fly us back down to the main trail. Weather was perfect cool June overcast day. Cache is in good condition at this time.
