OReviewer: Hello,

As there's been no response to my earlier note, I am forced to archive this listing.

If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the near future, just contact me email, including the GC Code, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Thanks,

Geocache Description:

Located in the Newark Watershed. **** Hiking Permits Required **** For permit info see:
http://www.nynjtc.org/trails/peqpermit.html

During a hike here on an early morning in July of 2002, Team Magster observed a large bear wallowing in this muddy pit. At the time it had been very hot with little rain. The bear seemed to have been using the mud hole as his personal bathtub to stay cool. It was apparent that he visited here rather frequently as indicated by the mud slide he had made.

Note that the NY/NJ Trail Conference "North Jersey Trails" map 21 may be of assistance. However, there's lots of unmarked woods roads in here that are not on any maps. Leave lots of breadcrumbs along the way!

Team Magster Woof!
