How Geocaching Works
Beware of Muggles; this is off a popular camping area for Cub/Boy Scouts on Gibb Lake Park!
Another in my on-going series of caches I will be placing that reference what I consider Essential Albums of My Life.
Loudon Wainwright III is a Grammy Award-winning American songwriter, folk singer, humorist, and actor. His catolog is filled with folk, rock, humor and sometime-too-honest accounts of his life. Last Man on Earth was written after the death of Loudon's mother, he moved into her old house during most of the writing of this album. It is his least humorist album, and because of this, my favorite. Mortality is a big theme in this album, from the first track, “Missing You” Loudon sings about not staying out late, and being up at 3a...”just to pee.” He sings are his troubled relationship with his father, Loudon Wainwright, Jr., a columnist and editor for Life magazine. Front to back, Loudon's strongest, and most honest album.
Essential tracks:
