The Big 4 Multi-cache
Misty's Shadow: Thanks to Unimoggers and RWJFL for joining me during the removal of this cache and all of its stages. It was one of the most challenging caches this area has ever seen and I'm very sad to be removing and archiving it. A lot of work, time, and thought went into its creation and it had a good life. I will try to post photos of the stages shortly for anyone who was curious but didn't have the opportunity to seek.

This very challenging multi-cache is located in a little-visited area of Jenny Jump State Park.
Please make note of the difficulty and terrain ratings and look at the attributes before attempting to seek this geocache!
The four of us realized this beautiful area been sitting too long without a cache and so explored it for the best place to put one. We couldn't decide and so chose to take the toughest geocachers on a nice tour of the whole area. It covers four habitats if you will: fields, woods, rocks, and waterfalls, not necessarily in that order! The terrain is rated at least a 4.4 so please be prepared with appropriate footwear and clothing including high visibility orange during hunting season. The entire distance is around a mile and it took us over two and a half hours to place all the stages so please plan plenty of time or anticipate multiple visits to achieve this cache! Most of the cache stages themselves are homemade so please treat them with care and if any maintenance is needed, let us know. The difficulty is a 4.4 as well due to 4 things: camouflage, terrain, GPS bounce, and how
determined you are! A couple of other things that added to the "Big 4" theme:
We all used four-wheeled vehicles to get to the cache site at a speed of about 44 mph. We had to go through a 4-way stop along the way. Our cars plus a muggles' car made 4 cars in the parking area. It's the day after the 4th of July. Saber had his 4 paws and we humans definitely were using all 4 of our 'paws' at times too! We own 4 GPS units among us and used multiple units to make sure the coordinates were as accurate as possible for you. We had 4 really good sites for the final stage. We think this may be the 4th cache that has been placed here (the others sadly have been archived). We think that's all the 4s!
Oh, and we're not telling how many stages to get to the final! That's up to you to find out!
We will say that the first to find (FTF) prize is VERY nice! It should make any geocacher, child or adult, male or female, very happy! The cache container is stuffed full of really nice, quality stuff for a variety of people. Please trade with a conscience to maintain the high quality this cache has.
One more thing: we ask that you respect this area and the farmer's crops, wildlife, and nature present. Be careful you don't get hurt and don't hurt them either.
Enjoy the search and don't curse us out when you can't find a stage. Just sit down and take the opportunity to enjoy the area. The cache is there and waiting for you :)
