Geocache Description:

This OK, Dr. Jay?  Regular size cache hidden off the road a short distance. Watch your step.  Please put everything back as you found it so it will remain in place for the next geocacher.

The first weekend of this month I attended the UTAG event in Moab where I finally officially met Dr. Jay.  He was the organizer of the event and amoung other things, the autioneer for the aution where I out bid everyone and "won" this cache.  For those of you who do not live in the area, Dr. Jay is the king of FTF"s here.  It is always a thrill for me to find a cache before he does; the privelege of which has only happened 3 times so far for me. But the race is on every time a new one is published.  When I see it is in Spanish Fork I know my chances are slim because that's his hometown and his work is such he can usually drop everything and take off.  I live 5 miles away in Payson.  As he handed me this cache he said; "Hide it in Spanish Fork."  I knew why and my first reaction was "No way!"  But then I remembered I wasn't going to be racing him for this one.  So I took the challenge. And challenge is was.  Do you know how hard it is to find a place that is not already taken in Spanish Fork for a regular size cache?  After many days of searching I finally found this place, but even then some things had to line up properly before it worked for me.  This has been my hardest and yet most rewarding cache to hide so far.  Thank you, Dr. Jay.  And this time, I hope you are first to find. Enjoy!
