Geocache Description:

This cache is in memory of Maggie (aka Puppers), our beloved geopup who passed away on Sunday, November 19th, 2006. On this Thanksgiving Day we are thankful that we had nearly 17½ years of Maggie's companionship and over four years of geocaching fun with her as the caching team "Puppers". We were truly blessed.

As Half Canadian so eloquently put it:

"A wise person once said that dogs are in our lives for such a short time because they don't need as much time as we do to learn life's lessons -- to love unconditionally, to forgive, and to greet each morning with a good stretch and a smile".

While we miss our pup terribly, we know she is in doggie heaven chasing rabbits through sagebrush, fishing for dogfish, and munching on microwaved bones.

The cache is hidden in the same King County Natural Area that used to house our now-archived cache "I Dig". Somehow we think Maggie would appreciate that (if you did "I Dig" you'll know what we mean). Access the area via a side road off of Paradise Lake Road with parking at N47 46.366 W122 03.799. The road is private but partially owned by the county so feel free to drive as far as the parking coordinates. There is only enough parking for one or two cars.

The cache is an ammo can starting out with dog-related goodies but don't feel obligated to keep with the theme. Maggie just wants you to have fun.
