Geocache Description:

This is a puzzle cache of sorts. You will need to figure out where the coordinate of this cache really is by reading the description below. Please take note of the cave waypoint. Feel free to stop by and enjoy this, but take care as you approach from above, if your path goes this way. It's a long fall. Also, feel free to use the posted coordinate to find parking. You can also use it and the cave as a sanity check. They are not terribly far from the cache.

In days of olde when dragons and magic ruled the land, a fellowship formed to save middleearth from the rain of evil and destruction. In this present age, the heros of olde still roam the earth protecting the treasure the current day. Our heros have aged and worn, but power and spirit remains strong. Around this town lies much bling, much of it stored in them green ammo things. But times are in peril, and some they say threaten the sanctity of our bling, or swag, or trade items or whatever. They fellowship has reformed and stands ready against the foe. Your job is to run and catch them, and lend them a hand in our battle against the geo-orc-muggles.

I have heard they have set out past Rivendale, in search of a great treasure. The posted coordinates will lead you to the hills above Rivendale. Once you figure out where they are headed, start from Rivendale, then head out to find our heros. May you reach them in time to lend aid.

Maybe you've seen some of these great heros on their grand adventures. Let me introduce them to you in order.

Frodo "Toids" Baggins renown for his undying dedication to saving the world from the reign of Sauron, honored for bearing a burden we could not bear. In these later years, he has saved the world from ho-hum caches.

Sam "Hazard" Gimgee loyal and true friend of Frodo. Sam loves his food, and more importantly loves his caches and food to be in close proximity

Aragorn "David or is it KD4ADC" the King pure and honorable. One can truly know his count is true as are his finds. His skill and cunnining with the sword of the GPSr is noted by his numerous finds.

Gimli "Vesole" Gloin is world renown for his determination and steadfast pursuit of the cache.

Leoglas "Redneckson" Greenleaf through his courage and mastery of his cache-bow protects middlearth from the forces the wish to bring the dark rule.

Merry "Moonsilver" Pippen with an attitude of determination and self sacrifice proves his worth to the fellowship

Pippen "Wesleykey" Tock, although given to leaping without thinking, he has good intentions, sometimes able to turn events to the good in his own way.

Erowen "Redneckgal" of Rivendale is renown for saving the life of the ringbearer and for fighting the onslaught of evil. Her elfish mastery of the hidden magic is astounding often finding caches that most mere mortals could never hope to see.

Elrond "Last Chance" of Rivendale is often skeptical of the chances of the fellowship to succeed both in days of olde and now in this current age. His strong magic allows him to travel far and wide to see all the caches of Middle Earth, often finding them first using this hidden magic.

Gandolf "Keymaker" the Grey, the wondering wizard keeps the pulse on all that goes on in Middle Earth. He protects all and know there goings ons and where abouts of all caches.

Well, that's enough introductions - let's get to where this treasure box is hidden. I, Bilbo "CacheBurns" Baggins have found an ancient ruin. The ruin had elfish writing with the image below. I took it immediately to Gandolf who interpreted that the writings to mean that a great treasure is hidden where the pictures point. I'm not quite sure what this means... maybe you will be able to figure it out.

Hurry and reach them now. It has been said that as they travel further, it will become more and more difficult to find them.
