Welcome to the Peculiar TB Hostel, where all your trackable needs
are met. Our local environment helps provide a quiet and relaxing
stay as your await further travel. Do you like sports? Enjoy the
occasional game on the nearby football field or watch a game of
horseshoes at the nearby horseshoe facility. Don't like being
alone? Enjoy the company of other travelers. Or feel free to enjoy
the serenity of the nearby river (occasional dry spells do occur).
We try to keep a minimum of two travelers here at all times, though
sometimes visitors need to get back to their travels and we
experience a traveler drought. All travelers are welcome, provided
we aren't experiencing the rare, but sudden surge in overcrowding.
The manager will try his best to prevent this. When you leave,
please try to leave the hostel in the same condition (and location)
as when you arrived. Oh, and all stays are free of charge!
We await your visit to the Peculiar TB Hostel.
OWNER NOTE:
As both an owner of TB's and coins, and as a cacher who enjoys
finding them, it can be frustrating to find a cache and have the
cache inventory be wrong. If you find that a resident of this
hostel seems to have run away, I would like to ask that you inform
me so that I may keep track of when it has been reported
missing.
If you own a TB or Coin that hasn't been seen since visiting
this hostel, please contact me. This is close to my daily drive to
work and I can easily check the log to see if it was mentioned, or
if it fell out and is hiding somewhere.
This cache is placed with permission from the City of Peculiar.
This cache has been muggled once, so please try your best to rehide
this as best as possible.

November 11 by theheartofrock (17 found) What a great place for a Geocache! It is amazing the places my power wheelchair will get me! Of course I couldn't make it all the way to the cache. Thank god for my friends who go caching with me, and my brand new service dog (in training). Took Lizard travel bug. Left a K state mini-football. The lizard is pretty cool it has caribeener tail, and with the push of a button it's mouth opens and a single LED light, that is quite bright, lights up. I plan on getting some travel bugs and this is where they will begin their journey. Time for me to log the TB, something I have never done before. TFTH H=Hostel

[view this log] | October 23 by topgun5403 & Co-Pilot Marty (2091 found) Find #1933. We stopped in here after dark on our way to Kansas City for the weekend, but nobody left the lights on. Found this one without any trouble and all 4 of the guests were ready to move on so we left 4 new visitors. Thanks for placing the cache and bringing us here. [view this log] | September 25 by TripCyclone (2130 found) Went out to exchange some travel bugs. Some have been sitting here way too long. Usually, this gets more visits a month than this cache has been having lately. Will try to keep more on top of it now that the school year is back in session. Also discovered that there are some people who have visited that haven't logged finds.
[view this log] | July 22 by Smiling Duo (3572 found) When mabutter and I pulled up, there was a truck nearby, but we were able to go after the cache and found it delightful. Loved the name of your city. Thanks!!!
