I and Kaprifol placed a cache here while trekking through the terrain. You will experience an incredible terrain while going here.
Vrångö literately translates like Vrång = Angry (or perverse) and Ö translates to Island. Vrång is pronounced like english word Wrong, hence the cache name! Ö is pronounced a bit like the O in lOve (with heavy accent)
According to local legends, the name actually originates from one of the first (the very first?) persons to live here; a Dutchman named Wrangel, hence Warngelsö (Wrangel's Island), who also died when his ship went down close to the island. Over the years the name changed into the simpler name Vrångö.
The container and log book are reused from the GCXCK0 Panzerkunst cache, which was drowning in mud... :-)
Public transportation (ferry): www.vasttrafik.se search for "Vrångö, GÖTEBORG". There are great and wide paths from the ferry to the general area, but you will have to do some trekking in the terrain as well.
