Geocache Description:

Steve aka half of Ukecan will be 60 this weekend

Come and join us for a weekend of celebrations at our back to basics camping event to celebrate with him. The campsite is basic, with only one toilet and cold running water (no showers) but there is a hosepipe if you are desperate. If you don't want to cook there is a cafe nearby and if you want alcohol there is also a LOCAL pub (Royston Vasey has nowt on this one)!

Tents/motorhomes/campervans are allowed on site, however caravans are unable to access the site. Contact me if you still want to attend for details of nearby caravan sites. Steve is in to his music, so bring along a musical instrument with you, either the real thing or home made and we shall have a jamming session on the Saturday night. Should rain attempt to stop play we hope that we will have a gazebo for us to all gather in. With plenty of amazing caching series in the area, including the relatively new Alien Landings (visit link) as well as Earthcaches, puzzles and traditionals there will be plenty to keep you entertained.

The weekend begins at midday on Friday 19th September and will end around midday on Sunday 21st September. The camping field holds plenty, there is no need to book ahead, just turn up and pay. At only £3.00pppn it's a bargain.

Well behaved dogs are allowed at no extra charge. All welcome, so even if you don't want to camp, come along, say hello, spot some trackables and have a great time. It would be great to have as many flags flying as possible for Steve's birthday, so if you have one, please raise it in his honour.
