SantoriniRendezvous: Went to check on this one and found it out in the open about ten feet from the original location, but it has become too difficult to regularly maintain this series from Florida, so after 7.5 years in play, I've decided to archive the series. Hope you enjoyed the murals.

Geocache Description:

This cache is one in a series of four that celebrates the painted murals located on buildings throughout downtown Plymouth. Although a few of these paintings date back several years, the vast majority of them were created over a five day span in June, 2011, by a group of artists known as the Walldogs.

The Walldogs’ goal is “to help improve a town’s appearance by designing and painting old fashioned advertisements and murals that are unique to each town.” With last summer’s project completed, Plymouth joined the likes of Danville, IL, Lodi, CA and Minneapolis, MN, among others, to be touched by the talented brushes of the Walldogs. This cache is a six part multi, each leg of which will give you one digit toward the final coordinates. Although free parking is plentiful, this cache can easily be completed by bicycle or on foot.

The coordinates of the six stages, as well as the final, were averages of several readings taken over a two day period. GPSs might jump a bit due to building cover, but all stage locations should be reasonably evident and readily accessible. Difficulty and terrain ratings refer to the final cache, which is log only. Bring your own writing utensil.
