Pirates by the River Traditional Geocache

This cache was placed for the upcoming neighborhood event Pirates in the Park on September 19th.  If you find the cache before then, it would be great is you could leave pirate Swag for the kids.  We will be teaching families how to cache.  

When I heard about the event, I realized there were only 2 caches left in the park.  The event organizers wanted to teach people about caching, so I volunteered to add a few more caches to the park to help out.  I might hide a really easy temporary cache for the event, but this area over here needed a cache again.  The one that was previously in the area was the first one my son looked for.  The cache is a small Snapware container.  There was some poison ivy in the wooded area between the grass and the cache when I hid the cache.
