Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Seneca Ponds CITO.

The second of four CITO events at the Portage County Parks.  If you missed the first CITO, Dix Park CITO, GC232RB. That’s alright, you can still make this one and the Portage Bike/Hike trail CITO and the Towners Woods CITO.

The goal is to clean up four parks we all play in.

In a short amount of time we can get these parks cleaned up before summer gets here. We’re not the only ones that play in these parks, so lets get them cleaned up for everyone to enjoy. Come out and help support/promote Geocaching, CITO and the Community.

This will be a two hour event, with enough geocachers. We will be able to do some damage!

When:  May 2nd 2010

Time:  12:00pm to 2:00pm

Where:  Seneca Ponds, Streetsboro Ohio

The Portage County Parks District will collect and dispose of the trash we accumulate at all four events.

With that said, there will be prizes at each event. Swag, Geocoins, geocaching patches/stickers, hats, T-shirts, etc… what ever I can come up with. Come help clean up our parks up and get entered into the drawings. The goal is to Clean up as much trash as we can in a few weeks. Then give away a GPS’r at the final Towners Woods CITO event. The Towners Woods CITO event will be at least three to four hours and include a cook out, burgers, dogs, feel to bring a dish.

Here’s how the drawing for the GPS'r will work,

Show up, sign the log, pick up trash, your geocaching name that you signed on the log is entered in the event drawing for that event. The GPS’r drawing is only for the Towners Woods CITO event. Attend all four events; you’re entered four times for the GPS’r. To be given away at the Towners woods CITO event. Attend one event, you’re entered once for the GPS’r That will be given away at the Towners Woods CITO event. Oh yea, you don’t have to be present to win the GPS’r. You will be contacted by RedJada through your geocaching profile if your name is drawn for the GPS’r

If you would like to donate a geocoin, sawg, cache, trash bags, water, paper towels, hand sanitizer, burgers, buns, charcoal, gloves or anything. Please contact me through my geocaching profile.

Watch this page for updates as it will change as donations come in.

Watch for Seneca Ponds, Portage bike/hike trails and Towners Woods CITO events being posted soon.

Hope to see you all there….
