Dastardly & Mutley in their Flying Machines

		The Airfield
		Hutton Moor airfield (as it was first known) was used for training and dates back to World War II. It opened in 1936 and closed in 1987. It was a small airfield which consisted of 1 runway and half a dozen hangars. Today, the airfield is used by industry, agriculture and for the Helicopter Museum. The Helicopter Museum dates back to 1958 but moved to its current location in 1978 when it opened to the public.
		The Show
		The show features Dick Dastardly and Muttley, the comic villains from Wacky Races, as World War I flying aces and members of the Vulture Squadron, a crew of aviators on a mission to stop a homing pigeon named Yankee Doodle Pigeon from delivering messages to the other side.
		The Cache
		This cache is situated on a relatively quiet cycle path. It can be reached by bicycle from the Locking Castle area or by car and has parking nearby on the old Locking to Milton road. You will need to bring your own writing implement.
