This is one of the prettiest creekside spots on the way up to Laurel Lakes and it is perfect for picnics, fishing and camping. While you're in the area, be sure to take a leisurely stroll up and down the creek to thoroughly appreciate it's beauty. This meadow really comes to life in the fall when the aspen trees begin to change color.

Take Sherwin Creek Rd to Laurel Lakes Rd (4S86). The drive up is rugged and high clearance vehicles are required. This road is buried in snow throughout the winter season.
You'll be looking for an ammo can with a logbook and pen, plus several cool items for your fair trading pleasure.
