Geocache Description:

Located in the Grafton Notch area in western Maine.

Taking HWY 26 west towards Upton from Bethel Maine, you will pass through Grafton Notch State park. A little distance beyond the park you will see a well traveled dirt road on you left side (York Pond Rd). This is your starting point. Follow this road for a few miles. You will come to a wonderful place where a natural spring is flowing out of the ground. The local community has named it "Mountain Fountain". Many people frequent this place to fill water jugs or just have a refreshing drink. The cache is not far from there. The cache is in a Tupperware container with a red top. After you have found the cache, please make sure the lid is on tight so no moisture gets in. The wooden snowman is the keeper of the cache, so please don't remove him. It is likely that this road will be closed in winter.
