NavySparksandtheMrs: Due to some problems and illness it has taken me longer than I would have liked to attend to this cache. Checked on it today and the place were it was hidden has been damaged and the cache is gone. I see no other good hiding place in the immediate area so I sadly am archiving this cache. Thanks to all who went hunting for it.

Geocache Description:

The cache is just a couple of feet off the trail. During the summer it can get quite hot in this park so be sure to take water if you run into those conditions. Be sure to watch out for poison oak and for info on this pesty plant go here: http://www.knoledge.org/oak/ And here: http://www.knoledge.org/oak/identify.html It seems the PO has made inroads near the cache. Please keep an eye out for it!!!!

Water Dog Lake is a neat place to go hiking and there are at least a couple of other caches nearby. The main trail is wide and easy to navigate but the cache is located on a side trail a very short distance from the main trail. This cache replaces my original Water Dog Lake cache which has been archived. Thanks to bthomas for suggesting this location. Also, thanks to him for the warning that poison oak has appeared near the cache. See above in the cache short description for info on poison oak.
