Geocache Description:

A cache at the end of the West Fork Miller River "Road" at the Historic Aces Up mine.

This cache came about via the Cyber Time-Inversion Ray Gun TB. This travel bug wanted to go somewhere historical and all the caches YotaKid and I tried to place it in were too small. A historic cache large enough for the Cyber Time-Inversion Ray Gun had to be created. History; The West Fork of the Miller River was the largest producer of Silver in King County. Along the way to the cache you will pass side trails to other historic mines such as the Cleopatra, Mono, Coney Basin, Seattle-Cascade, King and Kinney, Una and the Aces Up where the cache is located. The cache is located near the entrance of the number 2 adit of the mine. Lead, copper, zinc and gold were found in the ores of this mine along with the silver. Many of these mines date from the late 1800's. To find out more about these histotic mines check out: www.2drx.com, (visit link) or obtain a copy of Discovering Washington's Historic Mines Volume 1. Are you Ace enough to find this cache? I will be posting pictures soon.
