Geocache Description:

A small container with log and some goodies when placed. This site is of historical interest for 2 reasons: firstly it is (supposedly) on the route taken by the Perambulators of the Dartmoor Forest in 1240 (visit link) and secondly it is on a trail named the 'Monastic Way' by Eric Hemery (it being a marked route between Buckfast Abbey and Tavistock Abbey). The route the monks took seems a little tortuous but is discernible.
