Geocache Description:

Cache Type: Micro, please bring a pen or pencil to sign the log -- Enjoy!!!
Location: Lebanon, NJ
Description:
This micro cache is located in Lebanon, NJ on Potterstown Road which is 1 of 33 designated scenic roads in Tewksbury Township.

I passed over this bridge on my way to work after deciding to take an alternate route since I78 was a parking lot. I cleaned up a nearby DNF and then found this spot. The area was beautiful in fall colors and the new bridge was a tempting spot to place a cache I just happened to have in my truck. I logged onto Geocaching.com and found that the nearest cache was .6mi away. But, alas, there are high tension wires above the bridge causing a very rare Magnetic Anomaly occurance, right here! How fortunate I was to have my Magnetic Anomaly Detector (MAD) with me! I ran a series of random tests in the peripheral area and detected by-far the strongest spot and carefully placed the cache! The cache is not covered, just look at it, retrieve it and replace it the same way that you found it! If you find it was covered with any object by the previous cacher, please do not re-cover it but leave it in plain site.

Besides your GPS you will also need a Magnetic Anomaly Detector (MAD) which is an instrument used to detect minute variations in the Earth's magnetic field. If you cannot afford or find a MAD locally, your GeoSenses will do just as well! Once the anomaly is discovered you will have also discovered the cache.

WARNING! Magnetic Anomalies are quite commonly known to cause significant GPS bounce interfering with all GPS Magnetic Bearings!

This cache is part of the "Magnetic Anomaly Series". Please visit the cache that started it all. It's called "Magnetic Anomaly: Secaucus, NJ" ( GC1EA8B). Visit it to see the latest Magnetic Anomaly count and find out how you can add your own "Magnetic Anomaly" cache to the series.
