Geocache Description:

Located 3.7 miles E of the Rt 60 / Rt 19 intersection on Rt 60

Cache is a Tupperware box 8 1/2 X 6 X 1 1/4 inches and contains a poncho, a Lego man, an army man, a glass insulator, a nylon strap, a very loud whistle, a couple of key rings, a prism, and a compass.
This cache is very well hidden but should be no trouble to locate.
There is a great view from on top of the rock lookine SE. Walked up on top to take a pic but the batteries in the camera went dead on me (I should know to carry spares). This is a really neat place in an area just full of neat places and full of history. General Jacob D Cox placed a large amount of men here to block General Robert E Lee in case Lee were to advance from the Sewell Mtn area toward Gauley Bridge. First in a series of Fayette County Civil War caches.
