Tamworth Geocaching Meet and Greet Event Cache

I have been a local passionate Geocacher since August 2011, in that time I have seen the growth of caches in the area and also familiar names appearing on logs.  I have been trying to work out the first cache in Tamworth, my first find was "the drop off" on Porcupine Lane, looking at old logs and some archived caches, Geocaching has existed since at least July 2005, the oldest cache "Lookout Below" at the Moonbi Lookout.

I have not attended a geocaching event and not really certain of expectations.  Please log any suggestions for the morning. I was unable to attend a similiar event in January in Armidale, so I am keen to meet my local cachers.  

I propose to meet in Anzac park, a picnic table not far from the playground area.  Bring along a cuppa and some morning tea, ready to swap ideas, discuss interesting and wonderful caching adventures.
