Located on a great vista this cache will bring you to one of the most Beautiful places in Windham.

Xrossed's Leap has some A+ scrounge placed in it.
This is a great little hike through the woods ideal for older folks challenging enough for the younger and everyone will enjoy the view.
Parking can be found at:N42 46.059, W071 17.812
Paths are well used and easily walked and maintained, there are even small wooden bridges to traverse moist areas. While visiting the cache enjoy the quietness and slight breezes and take time to "absorb" this wonderful place. Some of the surrounding areas offer quiet, discrete places for couples to relax. :)
Enjoy!
Note: Without giving too much away, please use caution at all times. Our kids are 13 & 9 and have no problem with the terrain. I have even seen elderly folks in the same area of the cache. That being said, skiddish and over protective types/ do-gooders may find issues with the cache. Common-sense prevails, Moss + Moisture = Slippery, use your head, use caution, have fun.
UPDATE: 9/12/08
The THIRD cache has been placed and is in an area that is significantly more difficult than the 2 previous caches Same rules apply as above.

Please trade up, trade equal, or dont trade to keep this a great place and a great cache!
Hope you enjoy this great place as much as we do!
~Team Xrossed

What a great area! It took a while but I found it, then sat and watched the sun set. TFTC!

I don't know what the King is talking about - it was a cute little snake...THE BRIDGES we crossed over however were nothing more than trecherous slippery planks placed precariously over raging rapids - it was HORRIBLE! But we made it to GZ without any mishaps and searched and searched and searched. ST scored this find and earned himself the title King of cachign for today. TNLNSL - TFTC! This was an incredible cache and one that shall be remembered for many years to come.

Out for an early day of caching. Had 7 under my belt and thought look here are a couple just around the corner. I will just pop over there and quickly grab a few more. Not quite. I was amazed at this one from the start.

The hike in looked great. Started to see large rock formations in the area. Only a taste of what was ahead. Got to the GZ and should have trusted my GPS. After a long search and saving the King from what he called a "Deadly Viper"

Garter Snake
Description: A small black, brown, or olive snake with three distinct yellow stripes down the back and a yellowish belly. Some specimens have dark spots between the stripes. The dark head is very small. Adult length: 15 to 27 inches.

This one was all of 24 inches. Great looking snake just sunning itself on a rock. Well enough about the "Deadly Viper"

Made the find. This is my favorite one to date. The area, the scenery, and of course the GZ. I do not have enough words to describe how much I loved this one.
Thank You

AMAZING! Simply perfect.

The hike. The climb. The view.

Simply one of the best I have ever done. Searched and searched as the GPS jumped. Scaled mossy rocks and steep terrain.

This one will be remembered for a very long time as simply one of the best we have ever done.

After working around a very large viper sunning itself, but always keeping a weary eye on him, we finally made the find find after a lengthy search. We sure did not want to make that hike without the reward.

THIS CACHE WAS PERFECT IN EVERY WAY INCLUDING NUTS ON COORDINATES!

What a great spot . Who knew this was here! I'll have to come back during the winter months to check out the views again. Hunting for the cache had me concerned a few times as it brought me closer to the edges than I wanted to be but then eventually settled on a easier spot. Good hide. Thanks for bringing us here.
