In the roughly two years that we have been caching, we have happened upon a myriad of wildlife. From huge elk to tiny mice. From a wild cat with no tail to otters with long, skinny tails. Fur, feathers, or fins, you name it, we've seen all but a few species. Sometimes disturbing them in the middle of the night when some of the smaller creatures feel safe in coming out to feed. Ask lindlib about THAT one. There have been times when we are searching for a cache while plundering through some animal's home. We wouldn't appreciate them going through our home looking for something that they can't even eat. Therefore, this cache is dedicated to all of the woodland creatures that we have imposed upon while doing this game that we love so much. So when hunting for this cache please consider this, "Is that an animal's home or is that a hiding place for a cache?" Remember, we're just visitors.
05-11-2023: A few years ago this area was all logged off into what is known as a "clear cut." Since that time it has been replanted and you'll notice the little trees that are growing there. So in time it will once again be a forest for protection of all the little creatures that will live there.
Your best approach to the cache is to go around the right side of the stumps in the road and then up from there.
