Geocache Description:

Stroll along the banks of the river in Southtown and find this tea-themed cache.

See updated info at end of the description.

Are you a tea drinker? Iced? Hot? Both? If so, you'll love this cache. If not, come take a walk down by the river in Southtown on First Friday, visit Madhatters Tea or one of the other cafes, and just enjoy the scenery.

This sandwich-sized lock-n-lock box is filled with individual tea bags (securely wrapped and labeled, of course). Come and take some tea and leave some of your favorites behind. The bagged leaves, of course. Not the brewed. That would be messy! ;) You can also bring tea-related items small enough to fit in this container. Tea scoops, reusable tea bags, tea strainers, tea bag rests, etc. would be appropriate.

Easy-to-find location just off a handicap-accessible trail along the San Antonio Riverwalk. Nearby you will find a number of historical markers and, if you look very carefully, you may even get the opportunity to log a benchmark along the way!

Original contents:
muslin tea bag
Tazo Honeybush
Stash Chai Spice Decaf
Bija Lemon Ginger Echinacea
Tazo Passion Tea
Celestial Seasonings Lemon Zinger
Republic of Tea Safari Sunset Red Tea
Celestial Seasonings Perfectly Pear White Tea

This cache has been resurrected again after some landscaping work in the area. Unfortunately, the log book and a few TBs were lost in the fiasco. A new cache container is in place and is camo taped and moved to a nearby location in hopes that it will stay put a bit longer this time. The coordinates listed above are those of the latest location.
The container is once again filled with yummy teas of several varieties. Come and get 'em! If you visited the cache before it disappeared, I hope you'll return and sign the log once more.

Update 12-27-19: Well that didn't last too long. So the cache is now a magnetic key holder. SW side of bridge. Stand on the grassy stuff to get it. Please put back as found so it stands a chance of surviving.
