This cache was placed as a part of the Great Eastlink Geocache
Project. The Project involved 25 Geocaching Teams from the Eastern
Suburbs of Melbourne who combined their efforts in July 2008 to
create the largest cache series in Australia in which each cache in
the series is individually owned by one team.
This cache, theoretically the final in the series, is placed in
a new factory estate which can be accessed from the Rutherford Road
Off-Ramp (the last exit before Eastlink merges with the Frankston
Freeway).
Hopefully the view of the final toll point will remain even as
new factories are built as the cache location is slightly
elevated.
There are BBQ facilities and picnic tables for workers (and
cachers) to utilise.
We hope you have enjoyed the Great Eastlink Geocache
Project.
