Most of the drive 'could' be done in a car, but not one you want to keep immaculate. When you get to the final road turn off - we only reccomend 4X4 - it is possible to walk it though. Be careful going up if you're driving as there are cross ditches.
If you continue up the road, and the trail the view only gets better. Unfortunately when we placed it there was too much snow to get up the full way in the truck. We chose to place it where we did as it would more "muggle" proof.
Sorry no FTF prize, but the prize in this one is where it is. We just happened to have the items needed to make a cache with us.
At the top of the peak you can see both Stave Lake and Allouette - and it has history for both Jordy and I - our first weekend together we spent some time up here - Kris munching on thimble berries and enjoying a picnic.
Keep in mind this is Stave Lake - as always it can use CITO almost everywhere you go and you could make a living off of the beer bottles in the area.
