Welcome to Newton Hills State Park.
This gathering is October 13, 2012 at Newton Hills State Park near Canton, SD. Newton Hills is located 6 miles south of Canton, SD off County Road 135 or 8 miles east of I-29 at Exit 56 (County Road 140).
*NOTE: This will be an Outdoor Event, so dress Appropriately.
This event will start at 6:00 PM and end at 8:00 PM (YES, this WILL BE an Evening meal, not lunch or breakfast). This will be a POT LUCK type meal. We will be providing grills to cook on and everyone should bring some type of side dish. Please bring your own meat to grill. This meeting is casual and informal. It is suitable for both adults and children. The goal is to discuss Geocaching and/or anything else that we feel like talking about.
Please make a “Will Attend” log entry in advance if you plan to attend and tell us how many are in your party so we can get a head count. Don’t forget to make an “Attended” log entry afterwards as this counts as a find.
If you are new to Geocaching please come and ask questions. If you are a veteran please come and share your experiences.
