Geocache Description:

From Wilsall, MT- follow Shields River Rd NE of town for about 15 miles.  Turn left onto Smith Creek road, after mile post 15.  In 3 miles the rd will split.  Stay to the right.  After another .8 miles the road will split again.  Stay to the right towards E Fork Smith Cr & Trail 6635.  Stay to the right starting the Trailhead 6635.

This is a great rural country geocache for the outdoorsman.  It can be hiked, mountain biked, ATV, motorcycle, or Jeep.  It requires some time on trails and a short steep hike. This is a medium sized cache with some SWAG.  There is a special gift for TFTF.  This spot is a special motorcycle destination for my family due to the beauty and location.  The trail 6635 is medium difficulty by motorcycle, not super steep. The last leg of the find requires hiking up a steep bank/trail.   This 3 mile trail (old logging road) is only open from June 16 - Oct. 14.  Limited parking off edge of road near trailhead/gate 6635.
