This is a tupperware container with room for a few goodies. It is outside the Appuldurcombe property fence just off the public footpath
The shell of Appuldurcombe often viewed as once one of the grandest house on the Isle of Wight. It stands in ‘Capability’ Brown-designed grounds. Today it is often used a backdrop for wedding photos.
To enter the Engligh Heritage run house and grounds there is an entrance fee - and hours are seasonal - so check the www site above for opening times.
But - the cache is outside the fence - no admission charge.
