How Geocaching Works
Look down low, you might see the glow.
This is a small glow-in-the-dark cache hidden a short distance off the trail at Black Hawk Park.
Some light bushwacking is required and during summer months, weeds and mosquitos may be an issue, but spring, fall and winter should be easy going. Parks open at 4 a.m. each day and close at 10:30 p.m.
I was fortunate to win this special Glow-In-The-Dark cache, complete with cache log, at Digger9's Halloween Event.
The young man who made it even came over to meet me afterward, and I told him I would be finding a special hiding place for it right away.
I choose this location thinking it might be a fun place to hunt a glowing cache after dark.
Please take care to replace it safely in it's hiding place.
