duganrm: I keep hoping to get out there but it just doesn't seem to be happening. I'll archive this for now and when I can get out there, I will try to reactivate it. Since this is MTRP though, someone else will probably place a new cache within a few hours though...

Log-only micro, in a cammo M+Ms tube, on the saddle between the two Fortuna Mountain summits. Elevation 917ft.
The boys and I were out for a great hike today, a 9 mile loop from the MTRP Visitor Centre, taking in both Fortuna peaks and plenty of MTRP caches. Picked up this ready-made micro container from the nearby Tuna Sandwich cache and put it in a pretty accessible spot. You'll have to be careful of muggles, it's near a busy crossroads on the trails which you can access from Tierrasanta, Old Mission Dam, or the Visitor Center. It's a fairly strenuous hike or bike whichever way you come, probably easiest from the Tierrasanta trailheads (Calle de Vida or Clairemont Mesa Blvd).
