gotta run: We were deciding whether or not to replace this cache so as not to impact the challenge cache. However upon looking at the bookmark lists, about 10 of the cemeteries have now been archived, and under current geocaching rules are unlikely to be replaced.
It was a lot of fun to put this series and challenge cache together. Locating old maps, contacting historical societies, and most of all driving around looking for places that were elusive to find and in some cases have been totally forgotten...Robin Road in Wittenberg... a cemetery in the middle of a cow pasture. We can't believe it's been 10 years since this cache was placed!!!
But...all good things must end, so as our caches run into problems we will be archiving them. It's been fun and thanks for finding them.
