A canyon hike-so do not go if chance of rain. Rocky, uneven terrain, about 1/2 mile one way. Park next to highway 89 at coordinates N 37 deg.10.058 W 111 deg.58.327

If you want to make it a little tougher--disreguard the parking coordinates & park where ever you like.
This should be a great hike for kids. Plenty of fossils when you get close to the cache & watch for colorful jasper & petrified wood pieces along the way.
When you get to the entrance---look up a little & left.
We have been notified that this is in the "Grand Staircase" and rockhounding is prohibited there.
