Elk View #2 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

bubbabeernut: I want to archive this and rename it AGT=Cameron- Wapiti View.
I can't seem to get DCNR to release the AGT Cameron Old Fire Tower so I'm placing the stamp in the Elk View 2 cache and renaming it so that it can be included in the AGT Event before it's over with this summer.
This cache is authorized by DCNR so it's a go.
Thanks
Bubba Beernut

Geocache Description:

Cache is now located at 41*12.265 / 078* 09.842 This is closer to the road and away from the rock piles that the Pa Fish & Boat Commission were concerned with. The Viewing Area is just off the beaten path this hidden Food Plot is another place to find Elk. The best times are early in the morning or late in the evening. If you come in the middle of the day your chances are slim of seeing one. But you will know where this little hidden gem is on your next trip through.

Park at the listed coordinates. Walk down the small road, DON'T DRIVE ( there are signs warning you about this ), to the food plot then walking along the food plot use your GPS to find the Cache. It is possible to drive within .1 of a mile of the Cache but you will be walking through waist high ferns along with the Rattlesnakes and ticks. The choice is clearly up to you! The Cache is a large ammo box close to a road.

This is a hunting area and as always Orange should be worn during the hunting seasons
