Rockport Maine is a very pretty piece of the Maine coast with views of Penobscot Bay. Mechanic Street turns into Beauchamp Point Ave which is a dirt road that is closed to cars in winter, but provides beautiful views and pleasent walking year round. The Cache is a 2 foot piece of PVC sewer pipe that has been painted brown. To start off the cache I've included the following items: A disney dollar, a hand made wooden puzzle (but I don't know the solution or the object, If you figure it out while you are there please let me know),an American Red Cross first aid training kit, a package of Mentos candy, a Samurai paper weight (given to us by a Japanese exchange student), a Americorps/vista key chain, a Halloween slide puzzle , and a Japanese Paper Ball.
There is a disposable camera and a log book. If you take your picture, put your name next to the picture number in the log book and return the camera to the cache. Please leave me a note in the log book, so I know you have been here, I will check it every few weeks.
After you find the cache be sure to visit Rockport Marine Park where fisherman and yachtsmen from around the world visit. There is also a monument to Andre the seal in the park.
Have Fun,
Phil
