Geocache Description:

This is a multi part cache in a little known area attached to San Diego's beautiful Balboa Park. The cache location is about a half mile from the start coordinates so allow for a short hike back to the park. The start is close to the Balboa Park N.W. "George Marston Memorial Cache"

Here is an example of how to determine coordinates given:
You are outside the white house. The clue says use the adress which is 1600 as "ABCD"
Coordinates are given as 32°44.(A)(A+A)(C) 117°09.(A+B)0(B-A)
The coordinates translate into 32°44.120 117°09.705

The starting location is at the corner of Balboa Park by the
Marston House Museum at 32°44.457N 117°09.494W
The address of the Museum is a 4 digit number "ABCD"
Follow the path east and down to 32°44.(C+C)(C+C)(A+A) 117°09.(C+C)0(A+A)
On the structure here is a year "EFGH"
The next location is 32°44.(B)(E)(G) 117°09.(C)(E+H)(G)
If you leave the canyon before reaching this point you went the long way!
At this location is a canyon overlook.
Opposite is a fire hydrant next to a large 4 digit number "JKLM"
Head back into the canyon to 32°44.(L)(L-J)(F) 117°09.(A)(L)(H+M)
From this spot you can see a freeway sign. Add all the digits on the sign to total "PQ". For example if the sign says 15N and 274W then 1+5+2+7+4 = 19 so P=1 and Q=9.
The microcache is located at 32°44.(D)(Q+C)(F-P) 117°09.(J)(P+Q)(G)
The cache is where a small troll might hide.
