One of the most surprising hikes i have been on in a long time! This time of year Devil's Canyon is lush with vegetation and there are spectacular oak trees all along the canyon. The one difficulty is the Poison Oak, so wear long plants! None of the caches we grabbed or placed were in or around any PO but it is all over the sides of the trail in sections! This is a nice gentle rise all the way back 5.5 miles. Bring some good shoes, a camera and lots of water when its warm.
As you follow the dirt road in this section you will come over a rise and see some condominiums in front of you, just before you turn to the right you will come across a rock that looks similar to the object named in the cache title, there is where you will find the camoed pill container that i squeezed between 4 caches. look 10 feet south of the trail. As usual, you will need a pen, its log only however if you are headed up further, you better have much more than a pen! Its 11 miles round trip! From here it is down ill into the canyon. Some really great vistas all along the trail so keep your eyes open and enjoy! This is a very little used trail that at times is a bit tough to follow, the caches will help you stay on the right path.
