Okutama - Mukashi-michi is an old road of Omekaido. I was
inaugurated in 1879, and Mukashi-michi was used from 1899. Omekaido
is the important highway which links Tokyo to Yamanashi. National
highway No. 411 is inaugurated and is called Omekaido now.
This CACHE is installed in the journey of Okutama-Mukashi-michi.
There is guardian deity of children curing a cavity. There was not
the dental clinic in this neighborhood in old days. Therefore I
offer the soy bean which I roasted in this neighborhood, and it is
said to have been cured a cavity when I pray.
CACHE is made by plastic of 200ml. Please bring it with you inside
because a pen does not enter.
===Okutama-Mukashi-Michi===
I have it of about 10 kilos from Oku-Tama Station to the Lake
Oku-Tama. It takes about 4 hours when I walk entirely. I recommend
that I fix the equipment and come. Mukashi-Michi goes along the
neighborhood of the several places bus stop on the way.
奥多摩むかし道は青梅街道の旧道です。1879年に開通し、1899年からむかし道が使用されました。青梅街道は山梨と東京を結ぶ重要な街道です。今は国道４１１号線が開通し、青梅街道と呼ばれています。
このキャッシュは奥多摩むかし道の道中に設置されています。キャッシュの近くには虫歯を治してくれるお地蔵様があります。昔、この辺りに歯科医院はありませんでした。その為、この辺りでは煎った大豆を供えて祈ると虫歯が治ったといわれています。
キャッシュは200mlのプラスチック製です。中にペンが入っていないので持参してください。
===奥多摩むかし道===
奥多摩駅から奥多摩湖まで約１０キロあります。全て歩くと約4時間かかります。装備を整えて訪れることをお勧めします。Mukashi-Michiは途中数箇所バス停の近くを通ります。

I found it!「奥多摩むかし道ツアー」で数人のジオキャッシャー達と来ました。
以前はバイクで来たときはあっという間に着いたのに、歩きではかなりの距離がありました。
その分道中の景色を堪能することができました。

隠す場所は想像は出来たものの中々見つけられず・・・。
虫歯地蔵尊、こういった生活に密着した場所の小さな信仰の場は結構好みです。

ツアーで来ました。 ここは座標が安定しない為に困難でしたが何とか発見する
事ができました。 とても楽しく歩いてきました、またいつもとは違う方面から
ダムを見ることができましたのでとても新鮮でした！ ありがとうございました。

Found it. Came here with geocachers in Okutama Mukashi-Michi tour.
The cache hiding was skillful. I prayed to maintain good teeth. 奥多摩むかし道ツアーで訪れました。
うまく隠していますね。ここで健康な歯でいられることをお祈りしました。ありがとうございました。
