Tunghai University is known for the Luce Memorial Chapel, which was
design by famous architecture I.M.PEI. The scenery of Tunghai
University is very great. She is one of my favorite campuses.
In this campus there are so many banyans. So, it's easy to find
a good place to hide the caches. You may follow the procedure to
find the final waypoint.
1st:
Get the coordinate offset from 1st waypoint.
The 1st waypoint is a traditional cache. When you find this cache
you will get a pair of offsets, which are contained in the cache
box. Offset 1 will be used for the Latitude correction. And, Offset
2 will be used for the longitude correction.
2nd:
Get the Reference Waypoint.
Visit the Luce Memorial Chapel. And, use your GPSr to measure (or
estimate) the coordinate of the crucifix over the Chapel roof. Use
this coordinate as Reference Waypoint.
3rd:
Calculate and find the final cache.
Calculate as following:
(latitude of the final cache waypoint) = (latitude of Reference
Waypoint) – (offset 1) + (0° 00.028)
(longitude of the final cache waypoint) = (longitude of Reference
Waypoint) + (offset 2) - (0° 00.030)
Congratulaion! You may go ahead to find the final cache now.
Post photo of cache box with your GPSr to claim, however, don't
show the final coordinate or the offset in your log or photo
please.
