5000 Found Traditional Cache

Krypton: As there's been no response to my previous note, I assume that the cache is not going to be repaired or replaced, so I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it

Geocache Description:

Previously 3000 Found. Name updated to reflect lots of caching.

Update 8/06/2004: Same cache, just revised the name.

Imagine 5000 cache finds by a geocacher. That finder is Team Alamo, the 2nd geocacher to reach the 5000 level. Local guy caches at a rate of about 200 per month. Keeping up with him will drive you to an early grave.

But give it a shot. The cache is an ammo can placed on the perimeter. Parking and access are on El Portal on the west side. If you'd like to contemplate anything, there is a convenient bench to sit on. Please treat the area with due respect. Hours: dawn to dusk.
