Geocache Description:

This easy grab and go is close to the Boone Farm. The parents of Dan and Lucille Boone  and neighbors built the house and barn with the help of neighbors in 1910. Dan was a descendant of the orginal Daniel Boone of Kentucky fame. Lucille died in 2011 at age 102. The cache contains the poetry of Clem Block, a grand rapids poet, who wrote most of his poetry during WWII while in Patton's army for 3 yearsin Iceland, Ireland and France.

This duct-taped Plastic Gallon Pickle Jar is located on the side of Dans Drive, a private drive on the west side of the Boone Farm. The homeowners association have granted permission to park on the private drive as long as cars can pass by. Please sign the log, read a poem, and take some poetry with you. Leave a poem or anything else good for kids. My grandkids are excited to read your log comments.
