The back streets of Reykjavik are charming to explore on foot or by bike, and you'll discover pretty houses in a wide range of colours and styles often with little gardens. In the summer there are lots of flowers and in the winter, masses of twinkling fairy lights. We always seem to come across friendly cats during our walks through these quiet residential areas. This cache, near the elf rock is also in a small play area for children and has an interesting mural too. Enjoy!
