Geocache Description:

Located at one of 3 iron bridges in Miami County

This cache is located at Miami County's Bridge #54, also known as Butler Bridge. The bridge was built in 1903 by Pan-American Pratt. The bridge was once a well traveled route but now provides a quiet journey across the Eel River. Gravel roads lead you to and from this bridge while wood planks provide the surface on which you travel. Wildlife flanking both sides include Great Blue Heron, River Otters, raccoon and ducks while small mouth bass cruise the river's pools over beds of mussels/clams. A visit to this site is great anytime of the year.
