I have been looking at caches in the area that have been temporarily disabled for a while now and it looks like your cache has been under the weather for some time. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time I don’t think we can do so any longer. Therefore, I have archived this cache. If you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

When repairs to this cache are completed and it is time to have it reposted, it will be no problem. Just drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. You will still be able to access your cache page just as before by going to your “My Cache Page” and clicking the link of your cache.

I will be more than happy to take a look at your cache again to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting. I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.

Connecticut Road Warrior I-95 Cache Number 1

EXIT 4 “lifestyles of the rich and famous”

This is the first of a four part series of Road Warrior Caches along I-95 in Connecticut. This is the sister series of our Connecticut I-84 caches. Once you have completed all four caches you will receive the official designation of “Connecticut I-95 Road Warrior”. To achieve this highly coveted title however you will need to rack up some miles.

Caches will be close to an exit ramp off of I 95 in Greenwich, Westport, Lyme and Stonington

Since most Road Warriors do not have time for extensive searching we made these caches easy access and easy to find.

Greenwich is the choice of residence for many professional athletes or celebrities that work alot in New York but want a more rural home location. Hence the cache nick name.

This park is quite nice and we are very confident you will find this a pleasant place to visit.

The caches are small so please limit exchanges to small TBs, $WheresGeorges or other small items.

FTF is the choice of any items in the cache. Keep in mind that a $$wheresgeorge$$ dollar bill may turn out to be more valuable then a Honey Wolf Wild Card pack or a scratch lottery ticket.

Original Contents are two $WGs, several scratch lottery tickets, several of our new signature cards , a Honey Wolf Wild Card pack as well as a number of foreign coins and a Geo Coin courtesy of Team Hatfield.

NOTE: THE ORIGINAL CACHE WAS MUGGLED - PLEASE ENSURE THAT THE CACHE IS ADEQUATELY CONCEALED AFTER YOU ARE DONE.

You can access the trail from several locations - each is a short walk but the trail is overgrown or difficult to find at some spots. The easiest is to park by the small facility house- there are two access trails right by there. One steeper than the other.

Two other caches are in this park - be sure to consider them while you are here - GCNF07 - Solar System Series Earth, GCKB9H Bruce Park Croquet Court Cache. You could score a quick hat trick in this park if you plan adequately.

As of August 22, 2006 There is now a new much smaller container to replace the previous one- this should be much more survivable and only contains a log sheet with some stubby pencils but you may want to bring your own writing instrument. Please rehide it exactly as you found it.
