Almost a Park and Grab at the trail head for the Old Carriage Trail
to Mt. Battie.
This cache is placed near the beginning of one of the least used
trails to get to the top of Mount Battie. While paved at the start,
the trail rises quickly and becomes a challenging one mile hike.
Not much hiking required to find this cache. Dogs are allowed on
the trail if leashed. Congrats to parmachenee for the FTF.

Dreary early morning find while killing time before meeting with hiking group to head up to Maiden Cliff and Megunticook. Next time I'm in the area I would love to take this trail all the way up. Love the area. Thanks for putting a cache here.
