Geocache Description:

THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE LISTED COORDINATES.

This is a puzzle ca he that requires you to perform three actions before reaching the final cache site.  It’s a little bit evil, gives you a bit of a run-around and has terrain that will vary depending upon what time of year y u decide to seek it.  To find it you m st visit 2 different locatio s and solve 2 puzzles first before you can locate the cache and access its con ents.

Through each action you will be fin ing information that will be useful once y u reach the final cache site.  Action #1 requires you to go to a physical site where there is a bison tube containing more information. Action #2 requires you to solve a puzzle. Action #3 requires both solving a puzzle and visiting a site. At this site there is a hidden box   hich contains the coordi ates for the final cache site plus some ins ructions.  I am not going to tell you what information you are looking for, so pl ase take note of everythi g you see and ll info you collect duri g the process.

So what oes the phrase “The Whole Shebang” mean anyway?   Ac ording to Merriam Webster, it means “everything inv lved in what is under co sideration ”.   Its origin is unknown and firs  usage was discovered around~ 1869.   The word “shebang” orig nally referred to a type of hut, dwelling or shelter.   Some research shows it also referred to a type of vehicle.

I originally thought about other names like “the whole ni e yards”, “the whole kit and caboodle” and “the whole enchilada” but this seemed m ch more of an appropriate title for this cache. (You’ll see why soon enough.)

Are you r ady?

Action #1-FIND THE CAMOED PILL CONTAINER

Use the coordinates at the top of the page and follow directions.

NOTE: THE CAMOED PILL CONTAINER HAS GONE MISSING...AGAIN!!!! SINCE I HAD SUCH A DIFFICULT TIME REPLACING IT LAST TIME AROUND, IF YOU WANT TO FIND THIS CACHE, MESSAGE ME FIRST AND I WILL GIVE YOU THE INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THE PILL CONTAINER. YOU WILL NO LONGER NEED TO GO TO THE COORDINATES AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE.

Action #2- SOLVE THE PUZZLE.

Moody, TX - Isle of Wight, VA - North Blenheim, NY - Walker, KY

Use Certitude to check your answer.

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.

Action #3-HIDDEN BOX

The coordinates you need to find the box are embedded in the number chart below.    If you have READ EVERYTHING SUPER CAREFULLY you should be able to figure out the system. It will be an easy task after that.  North is first.  Assume 40 degrees for North and 074 degrees for West.  You will need to find the ten numbers needed to complete the coordinates.  You can use the checker to verify your findings.

Final Action-  Bring all of the information you gathered with you to the cache site. It is a hike.  You may want to bring a walking stick to push back tall grass or sticker bushes during summer months.  There are tree stands nearby so there may be hunting from November-February. Proceed with caution during those months, or geocache on Sunday. Parking coordinates are provided.

Coordinates were set using a phone app so you may have to expand your search area. To save time, I recommend solving the puzzles before you go to any of the physical locations. If you do this, you should be able to reach the cache in one day. Use stealth as these locations can be very busy at times. Observe the hours of operation for the final cache. There is some swag inside of the cache including two scratch off lottery tickets and a brand new geo-coin for the FTF. While this is a puzzle cache, there is no guessing or mind reading involved. There are hints along the way if you are sincerely trying to find solutions.

Good Luck!
